  1. Kia ora Lesieli,

It is awesome to see that you have completed so many Summer Learning Journey activities so far.

Day 1 Activity 1: I like to hear that playing the violin is one of your favourite summer activities. Being able to play a musical instrument is an incredible skill to have. I used to play the piano but haven't played it in many years now. I also love spending time on the beach with my friends and family. What is your favourite beach to go to?

Day 1 Activity 2: It is great to hear that you have a great support crew of friends and family who will motivate you to do The Great Taupo Cycle Challenge. You are very lucky to have such amazing people around you.

Day 1 Activity 3: Great work on researching about the fish. However, the oldest known fish in the world IS the Australian Lungfish.

Day 2 Activity 1: I have done flax weaving before and I thought that it was so much fun and a useful skill to have. I wish that I could make a bag out of flax. Have you ever made anything out of flax?

Day 2 Activity 2: Your brother sounds like he is a great brother to you!

Day 3 Activity 1: It is great to hear that you and your family are early risers. Waking up early is the best way to make the most of the day.

Day 3 Activity 2: Yum - I love burgers! Thank you for sharing this recipe with me. You are making me hungry reading this blog post.

Day 4 Activity 1: Going in a helicopter sounds like it would be such an exciting experience. I hope to be able to go in one one day.

Day 4 Activity 2: You have come up with some great name choices for the geothermal pool. I really like all the suggestions that you have written down.

Day 4 Activity 3: I like how you have pointed out how important laughter and happiness is. I agree with you - this photo is such a great depiction of a group of people who are having a great time with their friends. What is your favourite sport?

Day 5 Activity 1: I also think that this fine is very harsh. However, the rule is set in place so that humans don't take too many fish to a point where there are no longer any fish left in that area.

Day 5 Activity 2: Great researching, Lesieli! It is so important that we protect New Zealand's natural beauty and look after these rivers.

Day 5 Activity 3: These are some great fundraising ideas! Have you ever done fundraising before?

It's great to see you using images to illustrate your blog posts.
