In rangitoto I like the boat ride and the huge rocks.
I like the black sand in karekare
Tana muta has big trees and a huge forest,
My favorite beach is piha because the sand is warm and it is black like the sand in karekare

ReplyDeleteMy favourite beach in Auckland is Karekare. Our family actually has a bach at the beach and we go out as often as possible. I particularly love the view that you get as you walk along the beach on a cloudy day. The mist appears to be rising from the sea and it gives the whole place a very mystical feeling.
Have you ever been to Karekare? If not, I would highly recommend going one day in the summer (when it is warm enough to swim)!
