Food Tech

At Food Tech we made Fettuccine. Fettuccine is a type of pasta. It was so much fun making it. My friend and I worked together to make it. It was so delicious.

Here are the steps. 

Step 1-Boil Fettuccine with 2c of water until it is soft.

Step 2-Fry the mince with Onion until it is cooked.

Step 3-Scrape the succini using the peeler.

Step 4-Combined all ingredients together.

Step 5- Add cream and spices. 

It was so yummy so Why don't you try this ingredient out.

Cooking Class At Tech.

At cooking class we made English Breakfast. We learnt how to fry eggs, bake beans, and bacon. We also learnt how to cooking toast in the oven, it was so much fun. The steps are here.
1. Toast 2 breads in the oven. (Bake 200)
2. Fry the eggs. (left front)
3. Cook the bake beans on the stove. (right front).
4. Fry the bacon.
5. Serve on the plate.
6. Enjoy your meal.

WOOD WORK AT TECHNOLOGY.

At tech I am in the wood work class. We made a wood box. We learnt how to cut woods, how to saw a wood, how to sand paper one. It was so much fun working on my wood box. I would surely do it again. Thank you to Mr Thomas for teaching us all the skills.

Cooking Class At Tech.

In cooking class we were put in to eight groups. In our eight groups we made pasta salad. We learnt how to cut vegetables up, cook the pasta on the stove and how to serve the meals. It was so much fun. I learnt so much from the cooking class and I definitely loved working in my group. Here is a photo from my cooking class.

PB4L Positive Message.

This is a message for you to also remember who you are and to never give up on dreams and hopes you have. Keep going and do your best in life.

X Country.

On Tuesday 3 September my school held an event called X Country. We were put into our school house colors. Taurere (Green), Maungarei (Red), Kaiahiku (Yellow) Te Wai O Taiki (Blue). The juniors had to run 1 lap around the filed. The middles had to run 2 laps around the school block and the seniors had to run 3 laps around the school block. It was so fun encouraging our house color team it was also hard running 3 laps around the school block. I am proud of myself for trying my best and placing 2nd place. It was fun seeing people giving it there best. I will surely miss X Country.

Miss Kelly Farewell

In my my class rm 11 we had a student teacher named Miss Kelly. She was in our class for 5 weeks. It was so much fun with her in our class. She taught us how to add and subtract fractions, how to add WOW words in our writing and also how to make a cardboard space shuttle. I am so grateful for her being in my class because she taught us lots of things. It was so fun with her through the 5 weeks. I will definitely miss her.
